| Its been some four weeks
since my last entry and there is a very good reason for that. It's called what
happens to your computer when you try and install IE5. Result, the machine
collapsed. Something to do with ActiveX - that's what my partner Roy told me.
Mind you when we took it in to be fixed we were informed of a whole load of
hardware problems. So, we've been off line and off quite a few other things as
well for a few days. This is where the information on zip disk and backed up by
Ditto tape come into their own. OK, so we couldn't actually access any of our
data - but at least we knew it was safe. The meeting with my new NLP supervisor went really well and so we're going to work together. I need to get permission to quote our comments and learnings here but I'll do that in the next few sessions. This meant that a week later I had my last session with Jim. This was very interesting and I found the position of moving on both happy but sad as well. We reflected on what we had both learned from each other and thought about how we might continue the process albeit in a different form. It'll be fun to debate therapeutic technique with Jim's peers. I am still waiting to hear from the Accreditation Panel. |
